Department of Optometry and Vision Science
Admission and enrolment
Here you can familiarise yourself with the admission and enrolment process for postgraduate students. Note that they differ depending on whether you are applying for a doctorate or another postgraduate programme of study.
You need to submit an Application for Admission form if you have not yet enrolled at The University of Auckland. This is available online at The University of Auckland website.
If you are unable to access our website please feel free to contact or visit the Student Information Centre.
Application for Admission submitted – what next?
You will be sent acknowledgement of your application by email. You will receive your Net ID, password and a list of what you are required to submit to the University. Your Net ID and password allow you to access Student Services Online where you can track the progress of your application and check if further documentation is needed by the University.
The Admissions Office and relevant faculty assess your eligibility to enter your chosen programme. If approved, you will receive an offer of place. Once you have accepted your offer you will gain access to the enrolment module on Student Services Online and you can then enroll in courses online.
If you are currently enrolled at The University of Auckland and would like to change your existing programme you should apply online.
See Student Services Online for more information
Postgraduate students may need to contact their department for enrolment to be completed. If you are having any problems and would like some help please feel free to contact the Student Information Centre as above or the FMHS Student Centre.
