None of the currently available therapies aimed at controlling myopia progression totally arrest myopia in the long term. This is a proposal for a clinical trial combining available therapies for enhanced outcomes.

This study investigates the effect of light exposure on myopia development in children. Light exposure is quantified using light-meter badges which monitor light exposure every few seconds over long periods. Refractive status in children is followed over time to explore the relationships between light exposure, refractive changes and the development of myopia.
