Ankita Umapathy has been awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Prize for Best Doctoral Thesis (2015). Ankita’s thesis – entitled “Glutathione metabolism and transport pathways in the anterior rat eye: Is the lens a reservoir of glutathione?” – was selected from 375 eligible theses. SOVS has close ties with her supervisors Paul Donaldson and Julie Lim and, since Ankita’s PhD is registered with us, we are happy to bathe in reflected glory. Congratulations Ankita.
