Orthokeratology and myopia progression

cl-myopia-clinical-trials

This is a registered clinical trail of a novel modification to Orthokeratology (OK). Conventional OK involves overnight wear of rigid contact lenses which mould the corneal surface in order to correct myopia. Previous trials by others show that conventional OK can slow myopia progression and eye growth in children. We have developed a novel modification to OK (Duplex OK) with the aim of slowing myopia progression more effectively than with conventional OK.
